Project | 01 Trade Show Management

As the Marketing and Events Coordinator for RTDS Technologies it is my responsibility to organize and arrange all aspects of our Trade Show program. From event logistics, booth staff training to identifying key sponsorship opportunities, I do it all.
Recent successes included our participation at the IEEE T&D conference in Dallas in May 2016 where the email marketing campaign I initiated and executed resulted in a 300% increase in attendance at our technical presentation!

Project | International Event Management

RTDS Technologies has customers in over 40 countries worldwide! Because of this, we host regular Users Group Meetings around the world to give customers an opportunity to share their work, research and experiences with the RTDS Simulator. These meetings involve organizing multiple days of highly technical presentations mixed with fun networking breaks and outings to reset and refresh those techie brains!

The UGM events have been attended by as few as 30 people at the Southern Africa meeting held in Johannesburg and up to 150 people at the China meeting held in Beijing!

My involvement is from all aspects - obtaining presentation abstracts, advertising event through website, email marketing, social media and events, coordinating all details of event from Canada and overseeing at event site.
Project | 03 Corporate Event Management

RTDS Technologies hosts multiple corporate events throughout the year, including a employee summer, holiday parties for employees and their families as well as User's Group Meetings, open houses, other meetings and in-house training courses.
​
I am responsible for facilitating and managing all corporate events. I oversee and provide support with employee social events.
